ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020 – Venues

Here, in this article, we will show you all the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020 Venues, and the story behind them.

The 7th edition of the tournament, ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is going to held from 21st February to 8th March 2020, in Australia.

Overall six venues are decided for the entire tournament, out of which one will only be used for the ICC T20 WC final, and one will be used for two semi-finals.

Remaining four venues are decided for the group stages, shown below.

Sydney Showground Stadium

The very first match will be played here, India vs Australia on 21st Feb. Later in the Women’s T20 World Cup, four more matches will be played here in the group stage.

Located in Sydney, It has the capacity of 22,000 and will be one of the favourite venues to witness the thrill of women’s T20 International matches.

WACA Ground

Total of five matches will be played, from match number 2 between West Indies vs Thailand, to match number 6 between India vs Bangladesh.

Total of 24,500 people will witness the ups and downs in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup group stage.

It is located in Perth.

Manuka Oval

The first match on this ground will be played on 26th February 2020, between England vs Thailand.

With the capacity of 13,550 people, located in Canberra, this stadium will also witness five matches, and make the thrills to count.

Junction Oval

Total of 7000 people can witness the unmatchable excitement of ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020 at this stadium.

It is located in Melbourne, Australia.

Five matches of group stages will be played here.

Sydney Cricket Ground

With the capacity of 48,000, this cricket ground is selected for the two semi-final matches going to held on 5th March 2020.

Located in Sydney, this cricket ground will give us two finalists of ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020.

Melbourne Cricket Ground

The biggest cricket ground in the world, with the capacity above one lakh, is selected for the ultimate final match of ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020.
